Curling Away from the Paria
Along a fortuitous flight path, we round the Vermillion Cliffs in the afternoon sun and their colors show in true form. Curling away from Paria Canyon, their red, orange and umber striped ridge echoes the crevasse of Marble Canyon as the Colorado river flows through it toward the Grand Canyon.
the canyon reminds me of a set of lips on a wily mouth. earth’s wily almost flirty mouth. very cool. gorgeous colors.

My family hiked in there about 40 years ago Malcolm. In fact my sister got lost. They had to call a search party, come rescue us, it was crazy. Nice pic.
