Zion’s Back Door
Sometimes we become so accustomed to seeing a place, or a thing, or a person in a certain way that when we approach them from another direction they are nearly unrecognizable…yet warm, inviting, and familiar. As we approach Zion from the north, it’s back door, the colors and shapes all feel familiar but the change in perspective challenges our senses and presents us with a new experience.
So interesting. It reminds me of those landscapes or of biblical scenes (like of Exodus). Michaelangelo. I’m not at all well versed with classical art, but I hope I’m making sense. Cool image, M.
